Client Demand Drives Expansion of SPL, Inc. Courier Service  (PDF version here)

Houston, TX –October 15, 2009 –SPL, Inc. (“SPL”) is pleased to announce the expansion of its courier services to the Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas area.

“Expansion into the Beaumont/Port Arthur area is a key element in our ongoing endeavor to provide value added services to meet the needs of our clients,” said Dr. Doss, Environmental Laboratory Manager of the SPL Houston facility.  “Ongoing client demand causes us to evaluate and reinforce our service offerings to benefit our clients for SPL Environmental and Petroleum lab divisions.”

SPL, Inc. Expanding Into Shreveport to Meet Client Demand  (PDF version here)

Shreveport, Louisiana –October 1, 2009 –SPL, Inc. (“SPL”) announces the opening of its newest location in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Located at 231 Mt. Zion Road, this new facility will service the oil and gas production companies, midstream operations, plants, and pipelines in the Haynesville Shale area.

The new Shreveport facility will offer SPL’s full suite of services, including laboratory testing, field testing, and fabrication of meter runs and metering skid packages.  In addition, support, supplies, and courier services will be available for environmental clients in the Ark-La-Tex area.

SPL is not new to the area.  Their very first SPL facility –located only 45 minutes to the Southwest in Carthage, TX –has been in operation since 1944.  With ten additional facilities in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Michigan, SPL is a one-source service company that is recognized as the industry leader in third-party measurement and analytical needs to the oil and gas industry.
