SPL OPENS NEW FACILITY IN PLEASANTON, TEXAS
Southern Petroleum Laboratories, Inc. is pleased to announce its newest addition to the family of SPL locations –Pleasanton, Texas. This new facility will service the oil and gas production companies, midstream operations, plants, and pipelines in the Eagle Ford shale area.
SPL is not new to the shale play market. In addition to our Pleasanton, TX location, our facilities in Venus, Carthage, and Houston, Texas and Shreveport and Carencro, Louisiana are in close proximity to the Barnett, Eagle Ford, and Haynesville shale areas. With a total of ten facilities in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Michigan, SPL is a one-source service company and is recognized as the industry leader in third-party measurement and analytical needs for the oil and gas industry.

Titan Allocation Award
SPL, Inc. was recently awarded the Titan allocation project by ATP Oil and Gas. The Titan project is located at Mississippi Canyon block 941 and will employ the use of multiphase meters for allocation purposes.

Dennis Dumas Appointed as SCADA Engineer for SPL’s New SiteOnline Service
HOUSTON, TX November 7, 2011 -Southern Petroleum Laboratories, Inc. (“SPL”) announces the appointment of Dennis Dumas as SCADA Engineer for their new Data Management service.
SPL has expanded its services for the oil and gas industry, with a concentration on the U.S. shale plays. The improvements focus on their newest offering —SiteOnline. SiteOnline is a service that allows the management of client data, from field measurement through delivery to the client’s desktop.
A graduate from Louisiana State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Dennis joins SPL with over twenty years of experience overseeing oil and gas production measurement/automation, as well as twelve years in the SCADA and data communications service sector, including onshore and offshore production and pipeline systems. His expertise in production data management is a seamless fit to SPL’s SiteOnline service.
SiteOnline encompasses SCADA systems, historical trending, operations alarming and reporting, pipeline balancing, remote shut-in or set point controls, and more. SPL’s service stands out from the competition because of their ability to quickly implement and extract data from any measurement and process instrumentation over a wide variety of communications methods.
