Assured Flow Solutions (AFS) announces its international growth with the opening of their London office. This continues the expansion of AFS following the recent success of its Denver operation, as well as its Houston-based fluid testing laboratory. Expansion into Europe is the natural next step in AFS’ strategic growth plans with the objective to provide an unparalleled flow assurance centre of excellence in Europe, building upon the existing AFS facilities, expertise, people and experience.
The AFS London office will be led by Ian Kopperman, a flow assurance and production chemistry specialist, with over 15 years of global onshore and subsea experience, incorporating all stages of the project lifecycle.
Mr. Kopperman said: “This is an exciting time in flow assurance and production chemistry consultancy in this region. Many consultancies have diluted their offering because of the challenges in the oil and gas market, thus we believe there is an opportunity for our clients to utilise the unique integrated flow assurance, production chemistry and laboratory testing expertise of AFS to add value to their projects and operations.”
Assured Flow Solutions re-unites Mr. Kopperman with former Multiphase Solutions colleagues Tommy Golczynski, AFS Managing Partner in Houston, and Elijah Kempton, former London Multiphase Solutions Regional Manager. Mr. Golczynski said: “This is a golden opportunity to leverage the AFS success in the US and continue development of the company vision into Europe, by providing our unique combination of flow assurance and production chemistry testing and consultancy services to clients across Europe and beyond. With his diverse experience, we see Ian as the ideal person to lead AFS in the region”.
